15 miles and 3800ft of gain out of the fairly remote Tanglefoot Canyon trailhead. Mostly a forest walk with a bit of a talus scramble at the end. The offtrail portion was quite tame.

This was my 56th peak from the OGUL list.

Tanglefoot trailhead about 10 miles back from the Bear Run Reservoir. Surprisingly there were 2 other cars at the trailhead- these were from a BSA troop that I'd be meeting on the summit.

Passed a small lake about a mile in and spotted this deer hanging out in a marshy section on the far shore.

Beginning the descent down into Tanglefoot canyon. The west side of the canyon was quite rocky and the trail deviated substantially from the route marked on the topo.
